Shipping policy
At AME System, we aim to provide efficient, reliable, and transparent shipping for all our products. Please read the following policy carefully to understand the shipping process, delivery times, costs, and other important details about your order.
1. Processing Times
Processing times for orders vary based on the type of product:

Off-the-Shelf Items: All ready-made products typically have a processing time of 24 hours from the time of order.

Custom-Made Products: For products like workstations, production trolleys, or any custom-made items, the processing time can take between 3 days to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the product. When you place an order for custom-made items, you will be contacted within 2 business days to confirm the design, accessories, and shipping details.
2. Delivery Times
The time it takes for your order to be delivered depends on various factors, including product availability, your delivery address, and the carrier selected:

Metro Areas: Orders shipped to metro areas can typically be delivered in 2-5 business days.

Rural Areas: For rural areas, we rely on Australia Post to handle deliveries. Delivery times may vary depending on your location.

Custom-Made Goods: If your order includes custom-made products that need to be shipped on pallets, we will arrange freight through trucking companies. Delivery times for palletised freight can vary depending on distance and logistics, but rest assured, we work with over 300 logistics companies to secure the best price and quickest delivery.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated by the carrier and depend on your location, product size, and weight. Shipping fees are live-calculated at checkout based on the address you provide. AME System uses third-party carriers for accurate, best real-time shipping rates.

Metro Areas: For metro deliveries, we partner with Sendle, which provides competitive rates with carbon-neutral shipping. We might use Australia Post if delivery charges are lower.

Rural Areas: Australia Post handles rural deliveries with a range of pricing options depending on the location.

Custom Orders: For large items or palletised freight, trucking companies will be used. The best shipping rate will be calculated for you during checkout. Customer must pay a freight charge and/or other applicable charges per order. Customer is liable for all (i) charges related to hand unloading, crane or tail-lift charges; (ii) charges for specific equipment or specialised services; and (iii) charges arising from failed delivery or re-delivery (including storage charges).
4. International Shipping
Currently, AME System does not offer international shipping. We only ship to addresses within Australia at this time.
5. Carrier Information
We work with trusted carriers to ensure your order reaches you safely and in a timely manner:

Sendle: Our primary carrier for metro areas, Sendle offers 100% carbon-neutral shipping, making it an eco-friendly choice. They are also known for their reliable service and very competitive rates.

Australia Post: For rural areas, Australia Post ensures that your order is handled with care and delivered to your door.

Trucking Companies: For custom orders that require palletised shipping, we work with a network of over 300 logistics companies to provide the best rates and service for large freight.
6. Delays and Lost Packages
While we strive to ensure that all orders are shipped on time, delays can occasionally occur due to factors such as weather, carrier issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. If you experience a delay or your package is lost, please reach out to us as soon as possible, and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue. We will keep you informed of any updates regarding your shipment.
AME System is not liable for any loss/damage, including consequential loss/damage, arising from the delay or failure in delivery of Goods, either whole or in part, due to circumstances beyond AME System Pty Ltd control.
7. Returns

Off-the-Shelf Items: If you are not completely satisfied with your off-the-shelf purchase, we offer a refund with a 20% restocking fee. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
- Custom-Made, Cut to length & Built to order Items such as workstations, trolleys & shelves: Please note that custom-made products are not refundable. Since these items are tailored to your specific requirements or manufactured to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges on these orders.
8. Shipping and Custom Orders Policy – Special Offer
Shipping costs are estimated based on standard weight and size. During the 30% off shipping promotion, the discount applies automatically to eligible online orders of aluminium profiles up to 3 m in length. In rare cases where shipment weight or dimensions significantly exceed standard parameters, we will notify you before dispatch. You may then choose to cancel the order or agree to an adjusted shipping cost.
All custom-cut or machined goods, including aluminium profiles cut to length or prepared to specific requirements, are non-refundable. As these products are made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect measurements once production has commenced.
This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law relating to faulty or damaged products.
