When Saab required a new control tower console system, the brief was clear: create an adaptable, future-ready workstation that meets the operational and technical demands of air traffic control (ATC) today, while remaining flexible enough to integrate the systems of tomorrow.
AME System, under its ActivConsole brand, was awarded the project following a competitive international tender. The challenge was to engineer a solution that combined ergonomic functionality, modular flexibility, and precision manufacturing—delivering world-class performance without unnecessary complexity or cost.
